H.E. Dr. Mohamed Rashed Al Hameli


H.E. Dr Al Hameli is the Chairman of Emirates Steel, alongside being the Chairman of Senaat, a General Holding Corporation.

H.E. Dr Al Hameli began his career in 1996 as a Financial Analyst at Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Over the coming years, he has worked at a variety of government and semi-governmental entities, and has held roles including the Director General of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Center for Corporate Governance, and Senior Economic Advisor at Abu Dhabi Council for Economic Development.

Amongst his various titles, he also serves as the chairman of the boards of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company and the UAE Academy. He has been a board member of the Statistics Center Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Airports Company, and the National Health Insurance Company (Daman), amongst others.

H.E. Dr Al Hameli holds a Doctorate in Management from Management from Case Western Reserve University in the United States, a Master’s of International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from University of Maryville, in Missouri, United States.

H.E. Eng. Jamal Al Dhaheri

Eng. Jamal Al Dhaheri is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Senaat, one of the UAE’s largest industrial investment holding companies.

Eng. Al Dhaheri has over 22 years of experience that saw him serve in key management positions within Abu Dhabi’s largest industrial entities; these include Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company (ADWEA) and Union Water and Electricity (UWEC). His role in Senaat started with Abu Dhabi Basic Industries Corporation (ADBIC), where he grew up the ranks from Vice President (VP) of Aluminium, to CEO of the company, prior to its merger with GHC to form Senaat.

Al Dhaheri is also Chairman of Arkan and Ducab and member on the boards of Emirates Steel and the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company.

Al Dhaheri holds a B.Sc. in Science Engineering Management from the University of the Pacific in the US and an Executive MBA from Zayed University.

H.E. Alyazia Al Kuwaiti

Board Member

Her Excellency Alyazia Al Kuwaiti is the Executive Director of Upstream and Integrated Investments of Petroleum and Petrochemicals at Mubadala Investment Company.

Prior to her current role, she was the Director of Midstream and Upstream Investment at the International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), and has played a leading role in implementing UAE women empowerment initiatives, based on the goals set out in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030. Her receipt of the Emirates Women Award in 2013 was in recognition of her efforts towards female empowerment.

Her Excellency is a member of several boards within the UAE, aside from Emirates Steel, including Gulf Energy Maritime, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, the Securities and Commodities Authority and the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.

She holds a Master’s in International Business from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting and Finance from the Portobello College in Dublin, Ireland.

H.E. Eng. Aqeel Abdulla Madhi

H.E. Eng. Aqeel A. Madhi is the Vice Chairman at the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) and joined the Board of Directors of Emirates Steel in 2019.

Eng. Aqueel Madhi was most recently CEO of the NPCC, and has enjoyed a rich career of almost forty years with posts at ADNOC and the Abu Dhabi Company for Onshore Petroleum Operations. His leadership at NPCC began in 1998, and during his twenty year tenure, Eng. Aqueel Madhi brought the 16,000 strong company to international recognition, reaching AED 6 billion in sales in 2017.

Eng. Aqueel Madhi is the Chairman of the Al Gharbia Pipe Company, NPCC Saudi Arabia, and NPCC’s engineering subsidiaries NEL and ANEWA in India. He is a board member of the French company, Principia Group.

Eng. Aqueel Madhi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in the United States of America.

H.E. Ali Murshed Al Marar

Board Member

H.E. Ali Murshed Al Marar is the Senior Vice President of Human Capital and Support Services at ADNOC Offshore, and the Senior Vice President of Administration at Al Hosn Gas.

H.E. Ali Al Marar’s career in the petrochemicals sector has seen him be involved in the foundation of two companies, including Al Hosn Gas, and Borouge, the Abu Dhabi based leader in creative plastics solutions, where he additionally served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

H.E. Ali Al Marar sits on the Board of Directors of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the UAE University.

H.E. Salem Sultan Al Dhaheri

Board Member

His Excellency Salem Sultan Al Dhaheri is the Executive Director at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA).

H.E. Salem Al Dhaheri joined ADIA in 1993, and brings his extensive experience in the field of international finance to the company.

H.E. Salem Al Dhaheri sits on the board of Seenat General Holding Company, as well as being a Member of the Board and Audit Committees of additional bodies, including the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), Al Hilal Bank and the telecommunications company, Etisalat.

H.E. Al-Dhaheri holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado in the United States of America. He is a member of the Illinois CPA Society, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Leadership and Management in the United Kingdom.
